About
cas.run
is a Container as a Service (CaaS), a one of a kind type of compute services that we believe is uniquely different from what is provided by cloud provider such as GCP’s Cloud Run or AWS’s Fargate services. CAS differentiates itself as the only container service that lets you run containers at micro scale and only get charges for resources you actually use, not slices of resources you don’t or whole machines.
โ Please note, currently
cas.run
is in early alpha stages of development and what is currently available is not yet ready for commercial use. However we encourage early adopters to try out our service and experiment with what’s possible and give us feedback ๐ Please also note that whilst we’re in this early stage, we will not be running the infrastructure at scale. We also kindly ask that if you discover or find security flaws that you kindly and respectfully let us know so we can fix them straight away! ๐โโ๏ธ
SSH Interface
The SSH interface is currently used in place of a UI and has the following commands:
add [USER]
– Add a new user account, optionally providing a custom username. This will output a shell script that you can run locally to setup your local Docker client.whoami
– Display who you arehelp
– Displays help content on how to use the SSH interface and its various commands.
